Advantages, you don't have glasses on your face. You can see well everywhere, instead of of just the glass ( it makes a difference ).jermyang wrote:

yup thats my style too but i look up while i do it, way up, almost like my eye rolls to the back of my head. for me its easier to place the contact on the white of my eye and blink it in place. the main reason i like contacts is peripheral vision, youll realize how nice it is to be able to see out the corner of your eye, especially while driving.Agent_Dung_Bomb wrote:
I've had and worn both contacts and glasses (each have their benefit) for more than 20 years now, but you really do get used to it. To this day I still use both hands. I use my left hand to hold my upper lid open, and my right hand to hold the lower lid open, except for the index finger on which the lens is placed. Then gently lay the lens on the eye. You don't even have to fully touch your eye, as the contact will almost suction on when you get it up close. I can put both lenses in within 3-4 minutes, and that includes cleaning.
