BF2S Forums Jalalabad FAV Bug

Correct me if I'm wrong, but i dont believe any of the FAVs for mec are actually MEC. I believe its this way on all maps, but hey. i could be wrong.

No, look at the guns in the side seat. If it's an RPK, it's a MEC FAV if it's the Type somthing-or-other, it's the PLA version.

Yeah I already noticed they were green.

I think thats its the only map where the bug happens. On kubra dam, the MEC Fav spawms (I think)

There is indeed a MEC version, and a PLA version. The PLA one is green and has a red star (the logo for PLA), as opposed to the MEC one that is brown and has no logo, and a different 50 cal on top.

I'm sure there must be someone that does mods that clear this up quite easily. I don't know what files all this stuff is in (and ATM I'm at work) but it'd be interesting to know.

I wonder if Jalalabad was originally intended to be a Chinese map and they just forgot to change the vehicle type for that spawn point.

Possible, but the map is obviously set in a Middle Eastern city, so I don't think it's likely. Though I would have rathered a PLA city map than another MEC city map.

Yeah, but with different skins and a few trees it could be a PLA map "Road to Huahuaxiujing"

Yeah, or a Himalayan type ice theme and low traction for vehicles. 1942 had a few icy maps which were pretty cool (pardon the pun).
