Sorry, but I just can't like bands that scream vocals or in other words can;t find a good singer.
Some metal bands are ok, but mist annoy me with their boring riffs and half-hearted bass.
Duel-bass pedals are the sign of one untalented drummer. Any real drummer refuses to use them.

For these reasons the following are my current favourites:
Led Zeppelin

Red Hot Chili Peppers

The Who

Stereophonics

Kyuss

Beck

The Beatles
Black Sabbath
Blur
The Clash
Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster
Ian Dury & The Blockheads

For some reason I still feel that US bands churn out shite and eventually a dimond (Frank Zappa, David Bowie)
Whereas UK bands seem to throw out higher-quality music.

Saw Thrice last year supporting Coheed & Cambria. Why does all their stuff sound exactly the same?

Social Distortion... Because every show I've been to,
I've seen some rowdy ass mob brawls! And Mike Ness can kick all our asses.
28 years and still goin' strong, because they stick to their guns.
