Sudden score boost

I used search but couldn't find anything but I was playing a few minutes ago and my score was like 6300. just after the rank of sergeant major gold. In the middle of the round I get an award for supply points than right after i get the rank increase to Sergeant Major of the Army and at the end of the round I get the unlock. Thats a 1000 point difference between ranks and I just got the rank of Sergeant Major gold like 2 rounds ago.

I'm not complaining but WTF!

Any one else have this.

I've heard of the away bonus and prior to yesterday I did take about a week off. But a 1000 points?

badges/ribbons give you 500 career points so you can jump ranks quite quick if you set out to get them all

I didn't know you get points for ribbons and badges but I did get a ribbon in the prior round and then that award for resupply. Sow that was probably it.

Where can you get the info on how many points you get for the awards?

I thought I read somewhere that if you take time off from the game, i.e. a month or so, and start playing again you get a small amount of points to help you get back on track.

In BFHQ in your game it tells you how many points you get.

You get a percentage of your points you earned (final score not carrer), but dont know how much.
I havent played from 15th december to maybe 5th january and I think Ive gotten away points for atleast 20 rounds.
And yes every pin, badge, ribbon gives you points, from 20 to 2000. And thans to buggy system, they can be received multiple times

I didnt know you got points for badges either, what badges/medals do i have to get to recieve bonus points

EVERY badge and ribbon give bonus. Silver gives 500 and gold gives 1000, 2-4 ribbons i believe give up to 2000 career points the other give just around 40 or some 500. Bronze gives about 20-40

got about 8000 points in 2 rounds coz of 1000 point badges and that 2000 point ribbon (Legion of Merit i think it was) not long ago, looks like a stat padding session on my 'points per min' graph lol

i was like 500 points of a rank, and i had got a few pins, nothing big, then a ground base medallion, and a promo at the same time, but i didnt think medals give you points?
