Any way I can key bind my joystick to use the keyboard commands, as you seem to be able to turn quicker using keyboard then joystick in any helicopter.

what i mean is,

hold right on joystick=right on the keyboard but its programed so that BF2 or 2142 thinks its the keyboard not the joystick....

if you understand

cheers

not really, no. right on my joystick flips the chop over and the twist is the rudder, which one do you say is faster on the kb, roll or rudder?

You can dual bind in bf2 but if you want to use a joystick to make keypresses youll need some 3rd party software- doesn't your stick have any software that you can set this up with?

Google "Joy to Key". It's a program to make Macro's for your Joystick, should be what you're looking for. You can emulate mouse clicks, mouse movement, keyboard buttons...etc.

Yes, use JoytoKey.  You can set that thing up to bind any key.  You could sit back and surf the internet with your joystick, if you set it up right.

This seems a bit radical, however.  Maybe just try cutting the throttle a bit when you want the chopper to spin/apply rudder?

He's probably trying to turn the chopper around with just the rudder, which isn't the correct way to turn around anyway...but whatever.
