I've been playing lately as SF and commander. I will zip to the enemy base, cap it if possible, and blow the hell out of the assets. Being able to control the UAV and supply crates is very helpful with that. It's been fairly successful. I still throw the commander assets to the team when I'm not using them, and I get a fair amount of wins for my side. It's fun also.
However, I've got a question.
The manual (or something like that I recall reading) talks about hitting the enemy artillery with your own artillery.
I've had no success with that. Does it just do damage, but not enough to destroy the asset?
When I get the chance, I'm going to test it by nailing it, then using only one pack of C4. Perhaps the tactic would be to hit each one with one pack of C4 (therefore not alerting anybody to your presence in an uncappable base). Then call down the artillery on those locs?
