Its always been 17kills iar, so far what i know.

i just got the bronze last night and hoped the silver and gold would drop the iar reqs...

trying to get all my unlocks, enough people are complaining its "too easy"

same folks probably:

a) already have all the unlocks
b) play 2142 12 hours a day, every day

i mean cmon... gold requires 50 hours for each kit

i play alot, i got 2142 the first week, i did start over once, and i have

support 31 hours
recon 15 hours
assault 15 hours
engineer 14 hours

still need 120+ hours on the kits for the general gold and people complain its too easy

Agreed.  People who got ALL the awards in BF2 are either extremely good...or have no fucking life outside of video games; trust me, there were a few, and the amount of hours they probably needed to accomplish said task is ridiculous.

lmfao, i had all my golds on each kit in bf2 for both requirments, i also have most of my golds in 2142 aswel, but i do have a life, i just dont watch tv 10 hours a day

Yep.. It's taking me for ages to get the Badge requirements.. lol..
Anywhoo, haven't played much BF2142 this week (I have examns).
And I went from nr. 5050 to 5750 on the world ranking after playing maybe only 2hours this week! LOL

this game does not express stealth very well, lol

i get my knife kills happening upon some unlucky bastard shooting someone else

or by diving into a crowd

i have enough trouble getting even 2 knife kills IAR, i have this horrible reflex action, whereby whenever i see a enemy, i put several large caliber bullets through his head, as opposed to a knife. Shame really

Tip for knife kills....


Smoke nade on the titan. Get behind the attackers and smoke nade them, they won't see you coming. The day I got gold, they blew all our consoles, and like 20 guys managed to break into our reactor core. I threw 2 smoke nades in their and dashed in, managed to kill 12 people in the chaos. No one was paying attention to me, and when people realized they were dying, they just went around reving people, making medics an easy target. Trust me, smoke nade in a tight space makes players into spazzes.

I'm surprised at how easy the explosives badges are to get (not that I'm complaining). I managed to get alternatively 17 and 18 explosive kills in different rounds...the magic 19th and 20th kills continue to elude me.

This morning I got my bronze and silver collectors badges and two collectors pins IAR... First time I'd tried for knife kills. Was a good round, ended with 653 career points. Shame about the repeated tking (people spraying the guys I'm knifing ). Still, they really should increase the requirements on a few things such as the golds for knife/pistol/kit/vehicle badges. It should be as hard as BF2's medal/badge collection.
