I have a Razer Diamondback... think its a laser mouse but its really nice. Can't comment on the size i don't really have anything to compare it to. (Although the G5 looks bigger I've never seen one in person though.)

It's the biggest mouse I've ever used.

The Razer copperhead I had was great, but it died in the first month of use (random double clicking, then death). Now I use the Logitech MX518, it has better button placement.

The G5 is approx. 12.5 cm long by about 7 cm wide. That's just over 5 inches long, and just over 2 1/2 inches wide.

G5 is laser, not optical.  it's what i use.  i spent the 70 bucks at comp usa and i LOVE it.  having the ability to change the mouse speed on the fly is so killer.  also, there are enough buttons on the mouse that i never have to move my hands off either the mouse or WASD.

expensive, but phenominal.

The g5 is a sweet mouse but the g7 is better because it is almost the same thing but wireless and I don't care what you gamers think about a wired mouse for gaming because I have some mediocre wireless mouse maybe like 800dpi and it seems to work fine now.

And the g5 is optical cause optical goes to 2000 dpi where as the lazer goes to 400 or 800 dpi

A member on my site reviewed the G5 and ended up buying it. I like the ability to adjust mouse speed on the fly and also like the ability to add weight to increase feel.

Man, if what they say about men with big hands is true, you should probably be playing on something other than a computer

Go to the shop. I'm pretty sure the G5 has packaging that lets you feel the shape of the mouse without opening the pack...

Someones probabaly already corrected you but you're wrong. G5, G7 and the Copperhead are laser mice, things like the Razer Deathadder are optical. Optical is better than laser, it's more responsive. (I have a Copperhead my bro has a G7).

Back on the subject: G5 = huge, would be good for you i think. Copperhead is better for people like me, im a skinny shit and have thin hands. I wouldn't go with a G7 simply coz of the shit batteries.

EDIT:

A laser mouse uses a ... laser.

An optical mouse uses an LED.
