After many sleepness days and nights, I have finally managed to translate this alien language into something that is barely comprehendable:

So, if you have enough field unlocks, you can earn Northern Strike unlocks, as they are just added at the end of the unlock trees. Basically you can get badges allowing you to unlock either a standard unlock or a NS unlock, and if you unlock a standard item, you can get the NS item with a standard rank-up unlock.

Now I have to beat myself up for even bothering.

As somewhat of an insider, I can tell you that the reason EA is charging for the booster pack is that one of the senior designers' 2nd nephew twice removed has recently expressed interest in attending an elite art school in a remote, but trendy suburb of Vienna.  He has demanded that Uncle pay his tuition immediately, hence: Northern Strike.

Quit yer bitching.  Game development isn't cheap anymore, especially since the budget for high-profile games can go to the tens of millions of dollars, and the *average* price for each game is around fifty bucks, the industry norm since god-knows-when.  Be thankful Dice is much more dedicated to patching after BF2, and they've been taking community advice--like making everything balanced, making counters to any concievable strategy someone may use.

Edit: also, yes, the badges method to gaining awards seems pretty cool--hopefully they'll be a challenge to get, so I spend some time dedicated to that cause.

Pike off and clear teh forums, or clean up your tone, we do not like specifically directed anger at individuals.  Check the 'rules' section if you don't believe me.

Also, uh...one more thing: anyone know whether the new vehicles will be available in the core game? It's not likely, but it'd be nice if I could play...oh say, Belgrade or Berlin with one of those massive Goliath APC's.  Heh heh, let the whorage begin.

the winter theme in spring is probably because by the time they patched it up and running RELATIVELY smoothly, it would take 6 months. I could be wrong though.. and the eta is 1 year and 6 months. The NEXT NEXT Winter...

I really don't understand why some of you are so god damned cheap. You expect EA to treat you like you are the queen of England. For example, lets say you were selling a car. Would you give out all the extra fancy stuff for free? Hell no. This is the same situation.

And for the record, no one is perfect. Nothing turns our perfect because we are human.
I would like to see at least one game that is 100% Bug proof.

its real, some of us dont have the ability to purchase things online, and i complain because i have a right to do so, i try not to start flames, but others choose to respond, they contribute to the flame when they have to ability to just let it slide.
