I was looking on www.centrecom.com.au for g.skill ram they had it really cheap 2gb pc-6400 at 4-4-4-12 for like $380 aust but before i got the chance to buy it they stoped supplying it so all they have on the site now is corsair ram but i dont know which to get im not going to overclock just yet but i would like to later on when it starts to struggle. my specs are :

Intel E6300

Gigabyte GA-P965-DS3(2.0) - version 2

Got a better one in aust? and for the ram looking at the xms2 range or value select which ever is better for the money.

I got 2gig 800mhz ram for $360ish in aust, local store.

Yea i know he chose the xms2 pro version i dont want to spend that much. the cheapest 800mhz ram on that site is $450 but the g skill they had beore was $380 btw what brand?

go for the XMS2... value select is crap..
i got corsair 2gb xms2 800 6400 4-4-4-12

2gb xms2 800 6400 4-4-4-12 that is a good one, if u got more money and nforce mobo buy EPP ones (they cost more =/ awww)

it will be fine mate, but if you want to overclock in the future cas4 is the way to go.. but otherwise not to much difference.
oh and A good thing about corsair RAM is lifetime warrenty

that's quite high price for cas5 ram without EPP, if u get one cheap it will be ok, they sell those at 320€ here in Finland...

Yea im not really into overclocking as im only going with stock coolers for my system. But i still cant get over how cheap that g.skill ram was for 800mhz and cas 4 i cant belive they took it off lol.

yeh  there is another site i know that does g.skill, but delivery fee to NSW is like 100 bucks.. lol

Shit $100 what is it packaged in gold? Im probaly going to have to go with the cas5 corsair because if i buy a whole new pc they can put it together for $55 and then they charge $36 to ship from vic.
