ok so a quick call to aol for router settings turned out to be quite good (for once)

ive been upgraded to aol platinum and with a simple line upgrade i go from 1mb broadband to 8mb!!

and its for the same price as i wus paying plus i get a free wireless router!! im well pleased!! not so bad after all!!!!

until i have to call them about all the problems im having

I think there better than most give them credit for...... Never had an issue, bar they charged me to much for the speeds I got, but was compensated when they realised I wasnt getting what I was paying for. I mean that's good eh? Actually telling you, your paying to much and compensating you? I knew it was wrong but just assumed it was my areas dodgey line, so kudos to AOL .

call them up and ask for a line test, then they will upgrade u to the max speed u can get. call them up. i can give u the number if u cant b botherd searching on the site!

I am also on AOL, and rang up and complained that i was paying ~£20 for 2mg, after been with them for 8 years.... so they gave me 8mb for the same price

Very rarely get any problems with them, however with the few problems i do get it usually gets diverted to india, and not been racist or anything, but i cannot understand a word they say.

yea i done that lol also yes they are a bit, but my guy was reli helpfull and cud unerstand me well

i think iam on 2 meg or is it 1? I been with em before broadband was available and i have been upgraded a few times had to wait 3 months once -_- not being bad or anything but when a proper english or scotsmen/woman picks up the phone i get a smile on my face but if its an asian dude with a fake english accent iam like oh noes!

any1 here had their account password stolen i have a few times and its a password u will never get + i do consistent spyware scans....

It's not too hard to intercept wireless broadcasts to computers...don't type your password too much, as each time you do you send it, and anything that's sent can be stolen. If your password seems to be stolen a lot, check for a keylogger. That could be the problem.
