Does anyone know of a reputable place to have a PSP Mod chip installed. Any help would be appreciated. I am willing to ship it if I knew I would for sure  get it back in working condition.

Thanks

I have told by one of my friends that you can crack the psp firmware assuming its not brand new the older it is the more chance that its possible.

The internet is your friend thats how he found it.

I have firmware 2.82 so I have to mod it. I am looking on ebay for a 2.8 or less version. Do you know what where he sent his?

The problem is that you can't do that on the later firmware "updates".

Thats whats cool with the mod chip if its installed correctly you can re flash you PSP from the mod chip. So if you brick it just flash it back to what ever version you want. The point of having the Mod chip is so that you can run say 3.03 on the PSP and then load 1.50 or what ever firmware you would like even custom off the Mod Chip with out any mess or chance of Bricking it because you are running on two different BIOS chips.

Also,
Any cool RSS feeds out there?
