PC is still running good AVG detected a Trojan Downloader but nothing else. It just detected it while I was running Trend Micro (wierd) ill do a full scan and tell ya what comes up.

Gah that means trnsferring 20GB of backup's onto DVD or another PC.

Or are you talking about a restore back to when things started disappearing.

Make sure you get another one...
I just read something the other day that an unprotected computer can only last like 20-30 minutes without protection.

Is your keyboard wireless? It could be running out of batteries.

lol I think there must be heaps of people with that problem: "te wordsor" > "teh haxors"

Glad you found the problem. And BTW I don't use virus softwarew unless I'm running a full scan. You might not go more than 30 seconds without getting a virus, but in my experience AV software causes more problems than any virus I've ever had. Except maybe one Word template file virus (I think it was called the keypress virus); we had that one at work in 1995. But that's it. So unless you have something important stored on your hard drive, I wouldn't worry about keeping AV software running all the time. I know there's a lot of people who will disagree.

Edit: lol @ your AV software blocking Windows.

If only, some tard knocked the copper wire cabling down the street so I put down my firewall for a bit. The next day low and behold the hundreds of denial of service attacks.
