BF2S Forums Best Sniper Shot [kinda for snipers only]

Ive found the trick with SVD/Type-88 and M95 is that you aim slightly to the left of the target, this works so fucking well when standing or crouched with SVD and at long ranges. I put this into practice with M95 as well, and my opinion of it has changed, i actually enjoy using it at longer ranges now.

I don't go sniper much but happed to have a good run in the above vid, I did it again recently with out the bunny hopping. Got 30+ Kills from the same spot. If only I was recording.

Also remember  stopping anything at all taking off on Operation Clean Sweep, shooting anyone that got into the pilot seat of the chopper or jets.

damn dude....you were hoppin around like crazy.  hard to tell what u were doing.

My best with a sniper rifle was with the m24 on sharqi hotel, The Mec had capped it from us and the havok just spawned, I took out 3 guys heading for it when they popped outta the stairwell, And my back up sniper with the .50 cal did'nt let it take off he was popping them in the cockpit. Funny thing was i did'nt even have to aim for their heads since they were teamwounding for the heli.

My best with an unscoped weapon would be with the G3 on wake, I was raping carrier and i was the squad leader, I hid in the mast area, My guys were spawning on me with AT, Sniper, and Support on me, After a while an AZ-10 took off and killed me, The only guy who spawned as medic revived me, I moved down to the boat dock and came around to the other side where the heli spawns, I found a nice hiding area and with my G3 i was popping people pretty nicely with 200m and up headshots, Anyway on my last clip the f35 spawned and i killed 3 guys that ran to it, Then with 10 rounds left i saw 2 guys were running for it so the first guy boom headshot! Second guy comes back to revive him, Another headshot for me or so i thought, I miss him but i get the guy he revived, He ignores him and goes for the jet, He is like 5m away when i pop him in the head.

I've got alot more stories but i dont feel like typing anymore.

I will My only problem nowadays is the whole Vista + gaming thing. The drivers suck, I have an average FPS of 30 with all graphics on low. I'll come and pwn you soon m8

yeah they have rankngs for random stuff. go to your stat page and click on like ...ranks maybe. it shows EVERYONES rank in sniping...im like...69,000 lol

You shouldn't have bought that piece of crap. I'm going to stay with Windows XP as long as Microzovt supports it with their patches (year 2012 then). Then I'll buy Vista 2 or something like that

dont know how many of you know but you can use the corner of your screen to see further and clearer. was on r2j and saw a guy in one of those guard tower thing by flags. saw him in the corner of screen - brought it to the middle n i couldn't see him cos it was less clear so i just took a random shot.

other one would have been on karkand. was by the hotel south-side US guy comes round corner so i shoot unscoped and pop him in the head (dunno whether it was me shittin myself or instinct....i like to say it was the latter!)

You mean you never looked at your rifle rank while on bf2?

While on the in-game menu go to BFHQ, Kit Equipment then Sniper rifle.

I saw a reflection of usmc helmet in the mountains when I was on top of a building in mashtuur. aimed well. shot. and after 5 seconds I finally got the kill. lucky me.
btw anyone killed a tank with aa missile from the wake's us arty island to the main island? I did pwnt.

Well maybe 500m was over the top, but 200 metres is definately way too short.

Not to pick on you but the view distance is the absolute max. End of story... includes silhouetting... so only two explanations: either you're exaggerating or something's fishy. If you're insisting that it's not exaggeration then this automatically points the finger of suspicion at you, sorry
