hey guys i need to get my guid for www.clanbase.com but when i go into my console and type pb_myguid i cant read it properly and i cant figure out whether some letters are b's or o's. if you look at my screeny you will see what i mean, is there any other way in gettin my pb guid rather than in game.

p.s. ive tried different resolutions aswell but still cant read it

Did you try to turn down/up your resolution?

and i did use my full screen the images are from screenshots pasted into a paint doc

i have found an easier way to get your pb guid other than writing it down on a peice of paper and then typing in 30-odd letters.

easy to follow steps,

(1)start game as normal, connect to a online server.

(2)type into console these 2 commands

pb_logtofile 1

followed by

pb_myguid

this will create a logfile in your bf2 folder,

(3)now quit the game and go to the punkbuster folder of your bf2 install (default is C: - Program Files - EA Games - Battlefield 2 - pb) where you will find a newly created text file called pbcl.log which will hold your guid,now you can copy/paste it into a post here

While you're at it, type in pb_sleep500 and then pb_writecfg

Then it should reduce lag from PB hard drive checks.

No need to change stuff dude.

Get into a server, press ~ to get into the console.

Now type : pb_getss

That will take a screenshot of you and save it into C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\pb\scrnshot

Open the pic and your GUID will be there.
