Ok, well, everything goes smoothly initially, but nearly right after I put in the second install disc, I get the message: "Failed to Install Battlefield 2: Try again from the beginning". No identification of the problem, no suggestions in how to fix it. I've tried installing it on my computer some 4 or 5 times, starting from the beginning again as the message suggests but still I get the same thing. Has this happened to anyone else?Any help you guys can offer me? I have a Dell Dimension 4550, buy the way, if that's of any help.

Thanks for your time!

How much free drive space do you have?

This was happening to another guy that was on here, he ended up taking his laptop back to have it tested and got a new one and still had the same problem..  I would recommend checking to make sure all your drivers are up to date (EX: Windows Update, and Video Drivers etc.. ) and make sure you have Direct-X 9c installed..

This just started happening with my Dell too.  I havent figured it out yet.  I don't know if it is Dell specific.  Normally my dell keeps up just fine but that 1.21 patch screwed me and Upon reinstalling a couple of times this issue started to pop up so now I cant install the game at all.  I even restored my PC to factory default to see if the problem would go away but it did not.

If anyone figures this out let us know!
