So, what in BF2 really makes you the most comfortable? As in, what gets you to really calm down, focus, and get into a zone?

For me, it has to be behind the wheel of a tank, idk why, and it doesn't even matter how well i'm doing, just having that barrel in the middle of my screen i guess just makes me happy

When I play BF2 it's usually in the evening, so it's dark out, and then I turn off all the lights and turn on my desk lamp, which has a directional shade that I angle so the light reflects off of my wall creating a nice glow in my room that sufficiently lights my keyboard and gets me in the BF2-gaming mood, along with pulling out my headset, plugging it in, and putting it on. I <3 BF2! Though I don't play it a lot, I still enjoy it, albeit all the glitches and whatnot...

Anytime I am in a solid squad that works together and actually looks at what all of the kits are in the squad. (i.e. not 4 medics, or 4 snipers) It also is nice to work with people that work as a team, use their brain, and actually work to win, not just pad their stats. It's nice to see players provide cover for the players taking the flag even if they don't get points for taking the flag.

And for the love of Pete, please listen to your commander if he tells you to squad up and actually listen to the commands (providing your commander isn't a tard).

clear mind of all thoughts and other activity.
the next step I can't really describe..
then I tense up, and go into a kind of state where I can't think anymore, just do whatever I have to do in the game. Extremely fast responses, and snap-on aim are the result.
I can't keep it up for very long, maybe 1-2 hours, and I get a headache from it.
