I use 5 which is 1000Mhz; 2000dpi. Is this nessisary for fps games such as BF2?  What do you guy use?
Also, the sensitivity is nothing like my previous Microsoft Opti. What do I have to set the sensitivity in the razers config to make it like my old mouses sensitivity?

If you liked your old mouses sensitivity why did you even buy a new mouse? (unless it broke)

Doesn't the cord get in the way? I've always used my wireless Logitech MX700.

I used to have a shitty microsoft mouse, but I bought a G5 yesterday. The lowest settings is about the equivalent of my old one (400 dpi). 2000 is just crazy.

Used a MS Intellimouse wireless optical.  I love the G5 even though it has a cord.  I run at the middle setting which is 800 dpi.  2000 is too much for me.  400 is good for sniping.

I don't see the point of having a 2000 dpi mouse when you're tethered by a cord. Dragging a cord around when playing an FPS would drive me insane.

this is IMO the best setup for a copperhead, i have it set like that

note: ultrapolling may cause your system to crash (in some certain circumstances) so if your computer crashes set it 2 500Hz

Max settings dude, the mouse is perfect you just need to get used to using it, i set it lower at first but theres no point. Just keep using it untill you get used to it, thats all i can say, oh and good choice!

I decided to buy a G5. and I reckon it makes quite a difference.  I found my old wireless MS mouse a bit inaccurate, and tended to over adjust my aim.  I guess this could be down do the slight lag that is supposed to be inherent in most wireless mice.

Also I like the ability to adjust the DPI on the fly.  I use the lowest setting for fine adjustments when I have time, such as sniping.  The high setting is ideal for flying jets and the normal middle setting is good for everything else.

Great mouse. although a bit on the pricey side.  And in like most competetive activities can make a difference.  Just depends how serious you are I suppose.

My mousepad has a little clip on the top to wrap the cord around so it doesn't get in the way. I prefer the dependability of wired to the freedom of wireless. Although wireles mice really don't have the delay they used to so speed isn't much an argument anymore.

I got my razor on:1600 DPI with sensitivity 10, in combination  with a bf2 mouse sensitivity of 1,00 . If I snipe I use on the fly sensitivity to set my sensitivity to 7,5
