ATi has finally provided some updates to their eagerly awaiting partners regarding the schedule of their upcoming DX10 cards. R600 will be launched in CeBIT but cards availability in April and we heard that the official name could be Radeon X2900. As for low-end R610 and mid range R630, they will be launched in April but availability in May.

Still it's quite a bit behind Nvidia's DX10 card.

do you know if the 8800GTX/GTS price will drop...Don't wanna spend $1500.00 CDN to have them in SLi...and another $90 or so for PSU!!!

I'm sure it will, right now it's not competitive. When ATI gets into the market we should see a decrease.

Huh? The benchmarks were put out and ATI beat nVidia in every game bar BF2, by a mere 3 FPS.

He meant behind as in "they are 4 months behind Nvidia." It's no shocker they are ahead of the 8800GTX, after all they ARE a couple months after it. I'm a little upset that they still aren't ahead by that much considering the time difference.
