Anyone played BF2 on the new windows yet? I am waiting a little while before I get it, but just wondering if anyone has it working w/o error and if it affects the quality of game play at all differently than XP.
I've heard people are playing it with no probs, but you will probably need new drivers for your vid card
Hmmm I plan on getting a new Vidcard and some new ram with it, ill wait till someone says if they have any problems.

Only prollem I've had is you must run BF2 in Admin Mode. PB no like Vista O/S. You will get PB kicks from MP servers. Right click on your BF2 shortcut and select "run in admin mode", or some tripe like that. I have noticed some performance issues when BF2 goes from "join game" to the team select screens on the first map of gameplay, after that it loads right up with no hiccups. I just give it a few secs and it smooths out. I run BF2 GFX maxed at 1600x1200 on my 1yo. laptop (Vista ranks it @ 4.1) and in game fps is great. So far, very happy. Issues stated are basically minor. Rock out with yer Glock out.
my friend who tried bf2 with vista got the blue screen of death, but he had a dx9 card so i dont know how accurate that was.

I have Windows Vista Ultimate.
WIth all the things set for max performance (aero disabled) i get 10 FPS lower than in XP.
