Park or Morretti, almost never use the Lambert. I only use the Zeller-H when I'm bored.

Zellar isnt one shot kill. Ive shot armorless people in the chest. they didnt die(they lost 79 health)

I have close to a 6 to 1 kill death ration with the zeller and the lambert carbine. i can use either weapon equally well.

first its only 3 sniper rounds per clip. you get 10 clips so thats 30 rounds. then that annoying red tint in the scope while you zoom really gets on my nerves sometimes. especially in belgade map.

The zeller does 90-100 points of damage in one shot. the base rifles like the moretti SR-4 and the Park 52 sniper rifle do abou 75 points of damage per round. You get an extrodinary amount of kill power per shot with the zeller. the zeller may not always kill with one shot . especially body shots. but having you health at 100 percent down to 10 percent is a very scary feeling.

If the zeller H AVR did the same amount of damage as a park 52 or a moretti SR4, then having a 3 round clip is a big ass handicap and a terrible waste of an Unlock point spent.
Lets say the zeller H does the same 90-100 points of damage and carries 8 rounds per clip, Man talk about overkill. then everyone will be a recon and run around with a zeller. just like in Bf2 everone is a medic running around with a G36E.

people will still moan and groan becuase its only 3 rounds per clip... People start learning how to shoot and stop this " spray and pray " nonsense. 3 rounds do alot for you and your stats if you learn how to keep your cool and have that steady hand. you dont have to shoot at anything that moves. in fact people who do are not good snipers/ recon players. you have to use good judgement on your behalf in picking your targets. if your target is moving all over the place and crouching and ducking all the time..... WAIT patiently. let him move all he wants, then when he is not moving becuase he think he is safe.....BANG, hes dead.
BTW i got 7 Infiltrator pins with the zeller in One round.

For some reason I only snipe when I play PAC and thus I've got a pretty good K/D-ratio with the Park.

The Zeller sounds really nice but I never use it unless a nice sniper picks up my assualt kit to revive me.
The Lambert, well, I've got to admit thar it isn't my cup of tea.

i rarely use recon for sniping. i'm not much of a sniper, and prefer to use recon as spec ops.

Seriously less than like 10% of people uncheck the body armour box.
So if you don't want to get one shot killed then start wearing armour like everyone else does.

I rarely play recon, but when I do I snipe. The Lambert is a nice weapon, but you can't really expect to go toe-to-toe with all the assault and support players running around. The kit has nothing that really helps it in medium range infantry combat. So if you prefer the spec ops role, you're going to die a lot. That said, you are a Mech's worst enemy in crowded infantry maps.

I use spec ops alot lately as I love the Lambert, Invisibility and the knife.
Titan consoles have been destroyed many times by me, even with a shit load of people defending them as of my invisibility.
The lambert also seems to keep accuracy in longer bursts.
When I first played the game I only sniped, and I loved it, but after a while I got bored of always staying out of the real action, so lately I have been getting more stuck in. And I love it.

Zeller-H works very well in my opinion. I think I can take the 3-bullet per clip because I always go for the headshot. The Park-52 seems quite out of place, looks like a mini-Pilum in my opinion. Haven't used the Moretti much since I took out the Zeller!

Do you actually play this game much? Krylov keeps accuracy quite well, the Voss appears to be gifted with the abilty to randomly kill people in 1-2 shots, and the Baur is about as accurate as a Sniper Rifle on single shot.thebestshooter wrote:

i do play the game when i am not busy with school dude? ill tell you this, the weapons in Bf2 are a lot more accurate than the ones in 2142. go to any forum that really critiques 2142, they willl tell you the same thing that i said: sometimes they are accurate, most of the time they are not accurate.fatherted13 wrote:

every battle: i bring a zeller, a it-33 active cameo, grub 5 stabilizer. that recipe there is enough for me to get at least 3 infiltrator pins. i basically snipe under peoples noses...lol
i have been shot by someone with a zeller, and got killed with a single , non head shot. sometimes i survive. but trust me my friend, having your health go from 100 to 10 percent by a zeller is a very scary feeling.
many people complain about that 3 round clip and that nasty red tint on the scope. i agree completely with those facts in mind to a certain point. but i say to those people who bash the zeller H advanced sniper rifle: 3 round clip instead of an 8 round clip is a very small price to pay for a sniper rifle that does 90-100 points of damage in one shot.
