Oddly enough this happened to me a few nights ago with a smoke grenade. I didn't team kill the person, but I did cause Team Damage. I was like, "What the fuck?!"
No screenshot because I was too baffled by what had just happened to think to screenshot it. By the time I realized to take it, it was too late.

Which goes against everything anyone who has discuessed this has said, where it only takes away 1/ 2 bars of health, which is why it is very, very rare to see on the battlefield.
