Tank Armor

Just out of curiosity have they changed the armor ratings on tanks and APC's in the new patch? It seems as though they are being destroyed easier. Normally I have been taking 3 or more shots when I am anti-tank to take them out, now I rarely need three. Same thing goes for when I am in a tank or APC now, seems as though I am getting more damge quicker. Anyone else notice this or am I getting better with the anti-tank and starting to suck when in the tank?

I think you're right. It seems spots on them have been given more dmg potential. The rpg-7 probably also has a different dmg output than the eryx/sraw. I'd do some more research if I really cared enough to not be lazy and do it. So, if you have time and interest, do some research for me. I'm pretty sure something has changed.

I've heard that you should always try to attack a tank from the rear (as well as your girlfriend) because the armor is weaker. It could be that people have been getting better shots at you and vice versa. I havn't really noticed any difference. I will say that when Im IN A TANK it seems to take about 2 shots to kill me, but when I'm trying to KILL A TANK it takes about 73 shots to kill it.

I think the same from AT to tank and I now can kill a tank in 2 shots with my tank.

The other day i was trying to tank whore and i rounded a corner on karkand and four ATs were coming at me at once. I wish you could shoot them out of the air. I was like "oh $hit" and tried to run out of the tank but the explosion killed me. I hot footed it after the second time.

While I doubt the armor on your girlfriend is any weaker from behind I know tanks armor is. Always aim for the treads or the back if possible. Although most of the time as an anti tank you won't have time to round the corner and line up a good shot, you have to ust shoot quickly and hope the tank doesn't mg you down.

I think it's the top, rear and wheels that are the hot shots.

Keep moving so they can't get a clear shot, and it will also help shake of those pesky C4 and mines from getting on ya.

Very good then , I would research it but I have nothing to compare it to. If anyone knows how it was before I wouldnt mind finding out what it is now. I feel like something is different because I do not play all that much and the difference that I noticed seems to have happened after the patch.
