Im all for a good game but I hate ending the round quickly.  On maps like Wake, if China is down by one flag thats been greyed and the tickets are 150 - 150, I let them retake that flag.  Heck Ill even let them take another flag and move in as soon as they do.  Why end the round so quickly?  Now if the tickets are 30 - 30, thats a different story.

I too hate when a round ends so soon. Really sucks if your working on a badge! But, I usually show no mercy either because I know if I don't get the kill, someone else will. But, when I've been commander I've actually tried to order my team in such a way as to allow the other team to regain a flag to continue the round since I wouldn't gain anything by killing them myself. It's just too hard to get everyone on your team to not take the flag to try and get those 2 points.

Personally I think there should be some kind of bonus based for the winning team based upon how many tickets are left. Maybe divide up the remaining tickets as points? The rounds would really get cut-throat then. But, then no one would want to be on a side that has no uncapturable bases.

yeah, ditto.  my w/l is around 1.8 right now i think so ive got a ways to go, but im improving...so eventually i should get it.

i think there should be some kind of bonus for ending the round early.  its pretty impressive when you can capture all the flags before a round is up, then kill off all remaining enemies.  maybe something like...if its a 16 player map, the remaining enemy tickets are multiplied by 2, then distributed evenly among your team.  if its a 32 player map, the remaining tickets are multiplied by 4 and distributed out...and if its a 64 player map, theyre multiplied by 6 or something...

Nothing worse than finding a good 300 ticket server with no timer and the asshole (you know the guy) in the jeep  jets off solo and caps frickin flags rather than duke it out for an hour and rack up the points. I will give an enemy a flag in a heartbeat if they have none left or I will treat their last flag like an uncappable to keep the game going. I don't understand why people play on ranked servers for the quick win. Go play an unranked for that crap.

I think i'm a bit sadistic in that case

Let's say on Mashtuur the USMC is owning with the blackhawk and the MECs got only 1 flag left i prefer to let them have it and spawnrape them with the blackhawk. That's more painful than a quick win

If I just capped a flag somewhere and I see a enemy come running in, I hide and wait for him to cap the flag, then shoot the basterd and take the flag back!

If we are winning handily, yes i will, or i'll wait till the last second of his flag cap, headshot him, get CP defend points, yet b/c i time it..... a tmm8, can get cap points too from a neutral flag.
