Every song, movie, podcast. Everything is gone. I know iTunes stores your libraries, but where?

I don't know the default directory, since I moved mine, but it'll be in a folder called iTunes.  In that you'll see "iTunes Music" and then in that you'll see a folder for each artist whose songs you've downloaded.

Well, luckily I could get them all from my music folder. And then the rest from my CD's. So, it will all be re-stored. Even if the CD's take awhile to import, atleast I can get them all back again.

Anapod explorer is worth the purchase if you frequently put music on and off your ipod. Simple drag and drop interface. Just as you do in any other window. http://www.redchairsoftware.com/anapod/

So does anyone know if you can recover your music from iTunes website. My little cousins HDD died and now he has no music..........he purchased alot from the iTunes store. And of course he has no backup, it was all on the HDD and his iPod.

Just wondering.

You should consider using XPlay, here's the link - http://www.mediafour.com/products/xplay/

It's a great little program, I use it daily to put songs onto my 30GB video to listen in the car :p

I lost a bunch of shit once too which I never got back through them. I think their TOS says if you don't make backups your burnt.....basically. It was something gay that kept me from re-downloading my songs.
BUT I know your allowed to dl your music to more than one computer which I had already done (and lost that too) so just send them an email if you can't do it automatically
