Any time i get in pilot and a sergeant major or lower gets in ill ask them politely if they do not know how to TV enemy helicopters, can they please get out. if they dont ill let them pilot, id much rather have a mediocre pilot than a gunner who offers me no hope of survival vs other choppers.

But if im in the gunner seat and someone starts spamming 'get out' i dont give a shit if their clannies are waiting next to it, of if theyre both 4 star generals, if you wanna be a rude fuck i wont go anywhere. but if you were on some sort of clan server and the pilot deliberately crashed the chopper id try to get his pompous ass banned from that server. tards like that should get banned from every server until their only option is to tk bots in SP to solo there.

Iam one that cares about points but then I would rather have a gunner then not having one. I dont fly HElos all that often but when I climb into a bomber I  would rather get a gunner that knows what he is doing.IE: knows that there are tv missles on the jet...

If you gunning in a jet and have the high score then I am most likely in the top three.
I dont ask people to bail unless I am working the team thing, Don't get out just cause of some asshole, how do you expect to get any good if you keep getting out? You have to start somewhere.

I know people on both sides of the track here ones that bitch when you miss {only fly helos} will kick  you from the server if you get into his helo and you suck, and then I know people that most of the time they play is in the bomber seat just because that suck at the rest of the game...

I recently started fly helos and I even go into single player or an empty server just to practice my flying skills, I am not the greatest pilot in a helo but with the right gunner you can rock. Go into one and practice and get better, but dont start getting out because the pilot tells you to bail......

PLUS ONE for hanging in there, piss him off, if he doesnt like it then maybe he should go someplace else, you have just as much right in there as he does.....

basically what everyone is saying is stay in don't take that from people like that just do your thing and if they don't like it they can go somewhere else and if you get kicked then don't go back in it's not worth your time when you got many other servers to choose from

Everyone used to be a noob.  If this happened, no one would get much practice against a real helicopter pilot and so no one would get better.

You'll find that most of the time, pilots who ask you to bail out so they can solo the chopper are not that good. If they can't fly and think for the gunner, well, they $uck, because that's what flying an attack chopper is about. If you can solo, great, but that's not the way it's supposed to be played.
Usually, very good pilots don't mind having a n00b as a gunner, because they can take out enemies with their rockets all right. Plus they think that a n00b who knows a little is better than a n00b who knows none.
I remember that, when I began playing, I was a really bad gunner. There was a GREAT pilot who told me to jump in. I told him "I'm a n00b", but he didn't care and even came back to pick me up as I had bailed out by mistake, saying "No problem, I'll show you what you're supposed to shoot. No problem if you miss" and he explained me how to TV and stuff.
Sadly, I don't see much of that kind of player. That's why I rarely tell a gunner to bail out (except if one gets in and I've already had the same gunner all the round).
You did well not to bail out. That's how you learn what to do. Your pilot still need to understand some principles of the game.

I have seen this soooooo many times.

This gives most Chopper pilots a bad name.

I have only seen a couple decent ones, just like you described.

Like it was said, This is a game, and is meant for fun.

These guys feel these vehicles are there for "THEM".

Sad.

As you can tell by my stats, I'm only a mediocre player, nothing special.

I am currently a Capt. level, and still get these guys doing the same thing before I can fire a single shot.

So, sadly I have given up on the choppers.

I only have a BASIC Helo badge, and don't plan on getting any higher badge, or the Medal.

Specifically because of these types of people.

They think they are the best players in the game, but you will soon find out they most likely suck when out of them, and need the handicap to get an edge on other players.

They tend to NOT to be team players.

SO, To sum it up........Stay away from the Fucktard pilots, and keep looking for those good team player pilots.

the worst are the ones that fly and want u to get out of the gunners seat well i don't so their solution is to go out of bounds just enough so it kills me and not him and I get a suicide most likely -2....were's the justice in that???

see the helicopter is the most versitile tool on all of the battlefield. when used correctly a helicopter should dominate the map...when used correctly that is

Err yeah provided you also proceed to kick anyone who owns you in the jets.

no helicopter stands a chance vs a good jet pilot, theyll take you down in 1 pass every time.

oh and if you think you could just tv them outa the air, you clearly have never played against any half decent pilots.

U did the right thing dude.

I would have stayed too. I would like to know how a Single pilot in a 2 seat chopper does better alone.

I too generally leave if 2 guys are using the Chopper and they're in the same Clan.
You have the same right being in it as any1 else.

if somebody teamkills, or fly's the chopper upside down to get someone out, then IM gonna get on my other account, and just teamkill their ass in the chopper every single chance I get. Just for a good laugh. I can't wait!

What server should I get on taht has uber leet single seat chopper whorebags?

The name was something like German Workahloics 24/7.

The map was always Iron Gator.

I don't remember his exact name something like ===peefer(insertnumber)====

He wants you to get out because he would rather fly alone than have to line up some beginner that cant hit anything with tv.

I do the same thing. I would rather fly alone and solo so I can line my self up and hit stuff a lot more quickly then if I had a gunner. Sometimes I get a good one, but often I get idiots that dont know how to hit a tank. In that case, I red-line them.

Cant stand idiots.

I usually team up with my friend in the attack helo. Sitting next to each other in the same room, we communicate better than you could with VoIP or Xfire, and a hell of a lot better than you could do banging away on the keyboard. So, if we had a few runs in the helo and waiting for it to spawn (getting to the spawn first too, I might add) and some persistent SoB runs up and tries to hijack it, or gets in with just one of us, then yes - we will tell you to bail out. If you're a n00b wanting to learn, get onto a low populated or empty server. If above applies to you and you're not a n00b, then you'd better deliver. And - for the bottom line - if there are two players waiting for the helo, let'em have it (goddammit) and WAIT YOUR TURN!

If i'm playing a pub that i don't normally play, i will ask them politely to get out, if you don't get out, you get redlined BIATCH.

However i don't always do this, i only do this when there is a half decent helo team on the other side that needs taking out.

I do that some times. It hurts a little bit to be such an asshole, but honestly. When you fucking suck as a pilot or gunner, please don't ruin it for others. I'm a decent soloist, and a decent gunner, and a decent pilot. I hate getting a shitty pilot or a shitty gunner. I give tips but when they blatantly ignore it I get annoyed.

"DONT fly so slowly it's asking to get killed"
"k"
*gets killed whilst flying slowly and close to the ground... on Dragon Valley*

"Don't cap flags in a chopper it's suicide"
"kk"
*gets killed whilst unwillingly capping a flag*

"Aim me at any choppers or mobile AA"
"ok"
*gets killed while flying towards the lone infantry while mobile AA and two choppers put their sites on us*

"Use the TV missile on targets, you know how to use them?"
"yeah np"
*Gunner opens cannon fire on a tank, tank turns around and blasts us out of the sky. One time, the enemy chopper also fired a TV missile, missed us as we were now burning wreckage, and hit the tank that killed us ROFL*

So yeah, it's one of those things where I hate having it done to me as I know I'm not THE BEST but I'm not shit, yet I find myself justified in doing it. IMO, give the guy one or two chances, if you suck/your pilot KINDLY requests you to let him solo, let him do so. Practice on single player; the bots aren't smart but it's still good for getting the mechanics of TV missiles, piloting, and soloing down.

edit: TPike, the reason he asked you to get out is because an able chopper crew is one of the most lethal assets in the game. Unlike a jet, it can stay in the same area for a while as it has 8 missiles that kill anything. ANYTHING. Some people are very greedy and don't want new players using something that can get them points. Granted we're all noobs at some point, but some people feel that once they're skilled they get the full rights to any vehicle. If you know you're pretty good at soloing and some guy does the "GET OUT" song, jump out and M95 him out of the cockpit, teabag the cockpit, then fly off.

I dont mind new people gunning for me as long as none of my clan is in the server who I know can gun a whole lot better. I ussualy ask politelyfor them to get out. If they dont I give them a chance to proove their worthiness and if they arent worth anything I am going to ask them to get out again and if they dont Im sorry to say I end up redlining them.

However if I dont know anyone in the server and none of the clan is on I just let noobs gun for me they can get some practice out of it.
