Your chances of success and/or help in 2142 do not go up after you start talking about people's moms.
Edit: I assume you're connecting to server that have the lowest possible ping. Otherwise, you'll probably get disconnected by the server if they have high ping standards in place.

I fixed it! I updated the drivers for my video and sound card then set 2142 to run on a single core.

Before I updated my drivers it was still disconnecting when I set its affinity, so I believe the drivers played the bigger roll. I'm just happy I can finally play this game now!{M5}Sniper3 wrote:
