This Cricket World Cup thing... apparently we beat Pakistan, who are supposed to be quite good. Was this like San Marino beating Brazil or am I exaggerating?

No its the biggest shock in cricket ever, other than Ian Botham being a lady boy but that secret hasnt come out yet. (just incase I.T. Botham is reading this site for cricket updates, thats a joke)

Ireland bowled first and had the ball swinging all over the place were bowling consistantly well and held some very good chances.  They then came out to bat and and most of time made it look like a differnt pitch to the one Pakistan bowled on.  Irleand even got a shocker of a decision when the ball bounced up off a pad and Pakistan (who are known for doing this) appealed like their lives depended on it, umpire raised his finger, shocking decision.

Im chuffed to beans for everyone to do with Irish cricket and your fans are brilliant.  I bet every neutral is on your side now Cameron and rightly so.  And of all days to do it on!!  You beat Pakistan and sen't them home, what a result, thanks for that.

Congratulations to Bangladesh for beating India aswellagain they did all the things needed, boweld tightly, took important catches at important times and came out and whacked the ball all over the place making a good platform for the middle order.

Indeed.

Pakistan's coach Bob Woolmer was found unconcaus last night/this morning in his hotel room and has since died in hospital in Kingston.  He was 58.  Probably about to resign if he wasn't sacked from the job of Pakistan's coach and probaly given the roal of coaching England depending on their results.

This truly is shocking news.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Earlier today stories appeard of the English team being a bit naughty naughty.  7 of them went on the lash after loosing to NZ with less than 48 hours before playing Canada today.  Freddie has been sacked from his role as vice-captain and will probably never captain England again.  Flintoff has been dropped from todays line-up due to disiciplinary reasons, it would of been interesting to see what would of happened if; we played Canada first, then they went on the lash, and had NZ today. Would the coach of been so brave then?

Freddie was grassed on by UK holiday makers who spotted him, the 7 players and ECB management out in the early hours the night after loosing to NZ.  They phoned the "News of the World" who reported the story first.  Flintoff went out in a pedalo at 4am on his own, capsized it and needed the help of a beach security guard.  A simular thing happened years ago with Darren Gough who got attacked by a shark.

England currently playing Canada and looking likely to win but with the sad news above, it dosen't really matter.

RIP Bob Woolmer
