I agree with alot of what people posted.
1. VOIP
2. Play with friends
3. Be a regular
4. Being an overall good comander helps, supplies, good arty hits, spotting enemy. doing your job will get you "respect" and others will be willing to help you.
I follow some orders, and not others. I'm usually on my own ajenda, trying to win. So getting an order that is not in my best intrest or the best intrest of winning is out of the question.
If I get asked to.
1. kill a near by enemy
2. kill a flanking squad
3. defend a close flag
These I will do almost 100% of the time.
I will usally not do when asked
1. repair assets. your a commander use supply crates
2. assault flags that everyone else is going is usually out of the question. I hate getting the order to assault flags. I know where to go, I do not need the commander telling me where to attack.
3. Defend this position, when we are bleeding and need flags. I will defend if there are enemy's close by, but if not, I feel the need to do fast assaults to stop the bleeding. Let the cannon fodder slow down the enemy.
You have to find a squad leader or 2 that know what there doing and help them out as much as possible by spotting the enemy around them and dropping supples while there capping or defending flags, or in need or repairs. Talk to them about flanking enemy's. The squad that listens should get extra attention. They are the ones trying to win. Help them, help you win. Do not give stupid orders. If a squad is assalting a flag, do not ask them to assault the flag there already going to. Do not arty on a flag if they are already assaulting it. If you can, watch the flag there attacking, before you arty. If they can eliminate the enemy, arty somewhere else. Try not to drop arty on a flag your main army is attacking, this will keep them from assaulting till the arty is finished, or they will be the ones dying, not the enemy. Many flags need to be swarmed and attacked quickly not waited on for respawns, in hopes arty kills a few.
Basicly communicate, if a flag gets flanked it is your fault if you did not spot the enemy. If you let flags get taken due to lack of spotting people will not listen to you.
Those that complain about to much spotting are idiots and should not be listened to. spot, spot, spot, spot. To much is way better then to little.
