okay i'am having a problem with my speakers. When i'am finished playing bf2 i unplug my headset and turn my speakers on, but when i play music its all distorted and the voices sound like chipmunks. Even when i use my speakers for bf2 the same thing happens. The headset i'am using is a plug and play so i didn't have to download anything for it so it shouldn't be interefering with the speakers.I'am running windows xp media center edition with service pack 2 if that helps.Any help would be appreciated.
hmm wut sound card do u use?
yeah, what speakers and sound card are you using?

good question is right. is it a usb headset?
it could be your onboard audio. if that's the case you can simply put in a soundblaster card to remedy the problem.

placing a soundblaster in costs money..
if he is willing to buy a sound blaster then yea otherwise thats not much use
USB headset or is it the black/pink cables?
