Its because their sports leagues actually bother to link up with the education system so that everyone can get a fair chance, I mean just look at the draft system, American football, real football, basketball and athletics are all linked in with the colleges, giving almost everyone with the potential the opportunity to fulfill it. Then look at the UK, there's is nothing like that here, you have to go it alone in an attempt to get noticed, with so many people not getting the luck they deserve. Its complete crap, I mean how many more Wayne Rooneys, John Terrys, Frank Lampards an Aaron Lennons are there out there that just don't get a chance. Its complete crap, the lack of youth development is the reason why the premiership is becoming flooded with cheap foreign imports an why the England team never do anything.

Yea, the "CHRONIC" is pretty dang! good down here.
makes sense, i agree.
Yeah, I was just thinking about it the other day, cos I'm cuurently representing my county in the U18s age group, but I was asked to go to the arsenal academy full time a couple of years ago after I did my GCSEs, but if you want a real education theres no way you can do that. Whereas in the US you can still go to college and know your gonna come out almost certainly with a draft at the end if you were in my position
