It really suck at the fact that Nvidia has only 3 performance models out. The rest of the 8000 series can be surpassed by 7series cards and on rare occasions the oc 6600gt and 6800ultra. Technically an 8300 should be faster than a 7950 considering its higher number.=[AUT]-[phoenix]= wrote:
I think that 2 GTS are more expensive than 1GTX.....but the performance will be better(not so much but better)...M.O.A.B wrote:
I was thinking of getting an 8800 GTS sli card at some point, is this a good card, considering it is a DX10 card. I don't really have the money or want to spend the amount of money needed for a 8800 GTX.
2GTS=~760€
1GTX=~550€
1Ultra=~650€
yeah i know i should go back to XP...but its a fu**ing work....But in other games the performance is amazing.....(don't know the performance in xp )The#1Spot wrote:
Your system should load maps in seconds on max settings. Its about 85-90% Os and the rest Nvidia drivers. Consider this you basically upgrade your computer by downgrading to XP Os.=[AUT]-[phoenix]= wrote:
i have Vista business 64Bit and i think the performance is terrible.....it takes me about 5-10minutes to load a map and then it laggs for about another 5minutes....
And i think this could be a RAM problem....or not!
MY system:
C2D E6600 @3Ghz
Asus P5N32 E SLI
2GB OCZ REAPER 1066
500GB Harddrive
GeForce EVGA 8800GTX
Watercooled!
3D mark 2006 result: about 13.000marks
And the driver problems are horrible you must download all your drivers because most are not supported by 64Bit
Waiting for Vista SP1....should be published in summer/fall 2007
