What distance do you snipe?

What range do you snipe at?

As close as possible. 1m+	8%	8% - 16
50m+	10%	10% - 21
150m+	22%	22% - 45
300m+	9%	9% - 18
400m+	3%	3% - 7
Long distance (450m+)	5%	5% - 11
I cap flags as a sniper (a variety of distances)	30%	30% - 60
WOoKie distance ;)	9%	9% - 19

I'm interested to know what kind of snipers you are and what ranges your sniping at. I play wake servers all the time and never see people sniping over 300m+.

I actually snipe 300m-600m, but an average shot of mine will be around the 380-420 mark.

I hope i see a few long range snipers

When I snipe, I like going for the 450m+ shots, permiting I can see that far. Otherwise, 300m+ is where I normally snipe from.

I usually snipe at 380m+ to over 400m+ reason being no assualt rifle nor anyother infantry held weapon is in reach of me unless ur a sniper too

tbh, i find CQC sniping way more exciting than sitting 500 m away from a flag, waiting for targets to pass, but i can snipe pretty well at all distances.

When i snipe I do it as far away as possible, so that if they spot me and come for me (unlikely), I still have time to blow their brains out before they come into range.

However, I have made a headshot at 3 metres into the waiting brains of a flag camper who forgot there were two entrances.

Depends on the map and the sniper I'm using, The M95 I use 10-400, the M24 is from 10-as far as possible sight.

o and im not a typical "i snipe cuz it feels right" sniper. i snipe purely for the fuck of it when i see that a bunch of enemies are hiding their heads.

going to some ranom spot to camp so you can get a kill every few minutes = lame.

How do we measure distance in BF2? I've never seen a marker on the target. Someone up there mentioned 273 meters, how could you get such an accurate measurement count? I'd say mine is as far as the clearest point that I can see my targets head. No taking potshots for me, not anymore at least.
