Ok, my girlfriend has gotten a new computer. Everything has been fine until now. Wont get any sound anymore. Worked before.
It says that there are no sound-out-data-unit installed.... that's crazy. It is windows vista home something edition. I have tried to reinstall the drivers, upgrade the drivers, but the microsoft page says it already has the best and most fitting drivers already. So what the hell is going on??? How can I fix this?

this is why you dont get a brand new OS.....

i'd download the drivers any ways, and then reinstall. if you can't do that, the only thing i can think of is a reformat.

Yeah, it came with the computer. I wish it was XP instead. Can't find shit without looking for several min.
On xp I usually know where things are and things like that. It probably are not that different, but sure as hell looks like it!
