Nice config choice's . But i say you should wait for barcelona or if you want to build now get the same cpu ,case, and psu but get this mobo if you want to crossfire http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a … 6813136032 if not stick with your current choice
and ddr2 533 ram since it will have a 1:1 ratio for better ocing such as this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a … 6820227076(Thats my ram i love it!)
And your gpu get a cheap x1k and later get an r6xx based card.

It's your call man i like your current config but it's your choice.

Well what im going for is something fast that will do really good on xp. And when i want get a new hd and change it over to vista, once better games come out for that. thats why i picked the 8800

Allright but vista is not going to be as good as xp(With the drivers) for a long time. So why not pick up a dx9 card and wait for dx10 cards to be more mature? Thats what i'm doing with a friends pc( He got himself an x2 3600 and an x1650xt next year he upgrades to barcelona or budapest and rv630 and i'm gonna get the old parts)

I got the same card manufactured by leadtek though. Cooling was a problem sorta, I had to remove the pci slot right under the card. The air being pushed from the front of my case was pushing the hot air back into the card, then i'd get a hot card and a cycle of warm air.

oh, did it run everything maxed and run smooth for you? the case im getting is suppose to keep good air flow keeping the heat down.
