In the spirit of the academy awards recently I think we should have the D&ST awards. I'll pick a few categories and we will make nominations, then officially vote.

1) Most informative OP in a thread.

2) Most misinformed member.

3) Biggest flame war between two members.

4) Best overall post. (must provide link)

5) Funniest member.

6) Most intelligent member.

Here's the rules: No voting for yourself. Try and provide links or at least describe the thread. No flaming, this has potential to be fun. I will tally the nominations Sunday night and then repost as a poll with the top three from each category. Any ideas let me hear them.

This sounds interesting, though I think finding a deserving winner will be difficult because people show their own biases when deciding which topic to read/argue; therefore, a person who is the "best" or "funniest" may not be chosen just because he (or she) posts in an assortment of lesser known or less controversial issues.

Otherwise, go for it. I like D&ST.

after that was ATG

I may not agree with bubbalo on anything, but he is a man who is unwavering in his beliefs and defends his opinions to the death (dunno about that, but it makes a good point)

It's interesting to me that I left an impression however small.
