Ok. So. I've decided to build myself a new compy. Ive selected many items that i wish to include but i would like your opinons on the items i have selected. Please let me know of any changes. I would like to keep my price under 1500 but if there is a major error you see, PLEASE let me know.

id get the next core 2 duo up, and maybe wait a month until more cost eficient dx10 cards coem out eg. 8000 series

I have never seen or even heard of that RAM before. I'd recommend going with a popular brand, ie Corsair or OCZ. Even Kingston or Patriot.

nah pqi is ok, but i'd go with patriot they have a sale right now on their best ddr2 800 ram for 189 on newegg

Ok, Yea, whoops on the CPU cooler. Can anyone reccomend a good cooler for my CPU? I might upgrade to the next core 2 duo. Please let me know. And the Ram...its good, my bro has it, he has good results. ITs cheap. meh o well.

So. I need reccomendations on the Cooler for my CPU. Thanks.

Dude you nearly an identical set up like me!
same mobo, cpu, amount of ram, and nearly the same gpu! I ahve the evga 8800gts 640mb version.

Oh and you should wait for barcelona i dont know if it's k10 or k8l but all i know it's gonna kick ass and bring intel to release penrym early!

faster RAM ....800Mhz (6400) 2gb

haha. dont worry. Im going use the ones out of my old rig. Its a powerful DVD drive, new-ish. Maybe go BLue-ray if i want to. THanks for looking out.

Welllllll. Since i already have XP pro edition. And my old HD works well. I might go with a dual boot. THat way if Vista Fails, i always have my Back up HD with Xp. It will be tricky to work. Vista may have some issues with my soundcard, the Video card should work wonderfully.

And that price was a good OMEN.
