What kind of CPU? What kind of GPU? What kind of RAM? Which mobo? Ethernet? 1 gig, well 2 would be better.

2.4 on each core is ok, i'd agree with the lads another GB of ram. But all this would be useless if the motherboard was made of plywood.

Who's the CPU made by? Intel, AMD, IBM, Alpha?
Dual Core, what sort? C2D, Xeon, Pentium D, X2?
256MB GPU? That could be anything from an FX series to a 7 series card, makes a massive difference.
It's probably ok, but 1 GB of RAM isn't really enough for running on all highs.

I'm running this rig on a 24-inch iMac with ALL high settings and average ping of no more than 60 with a good 250-300 average fps atleast (unless I'm on some crazy norwiegen server cause then it has to go far from here).

BF2 doesnt go over 100fps anyway anything over 60fps and the human eye cant tell
It does if you unlock the framerate (which as he doesn't know the specs of his system, I'm gonna assume he doesn't know how to do). Although those FPS scores are obscenely high and BF2 won't run at that speed. 250-300FPS is ludicrous and I've never seen a Mac with hardware that come anywhere close to achieving those framerates and from the sounds of things it is just a very standard Mac and he hasn't got a clue.Fealty wrote:

I'm guessing he's got an E6600 with a 7600GT or something similar. A system totally incapable of meeting his claims, but a fairly nice system nevertheless.
Not capable of running BF2 on high on that monitor at high (>100) framerates at all.
