I play open age on a weekend. On Saturday I play for St Bedes Old Boys as Goalkeeper and on a Sunday I play for St Georges FC also as Goalkeeper. St Bedes play in the Yorkshire Old Boys league. And St Georges play in the Bradford Sunday Alliance in div 2B. I'm really enjoying football at the moment with some very good wins for both teams. My question is do any of the forum members play football on a weekend for any league and, what postions do you play?
I played for soton til I got a bad injury, now I don't play at all.
i use to play all the time when i was younger...but now im old and overindulgent. to be honest the last time i played i threw up lol. thats how fit i am.

Play for school and club (winchmore Hill FC) on saturdays. And the AFA under 18 team on various days. Come to think of it I'm playing for them against the royal navy 1st XI next Sunday. I play striker and winger

Well, St Georges F.C v Woodman Rovers F.C 1-1 after 50 mins, game abandoned due to BLIZZARDS!! Yes thats right, BLIZZARDS. Was sunny, but windy up until 12:15 pm, then, bang, it hit us out of nowhere. So another damn night match replay. How did everyone else get on today?
cold wet n muddy
Ours was hailstones the size of small bb pelltes, stung like fcuk!
Collier Row, Goalkeeper until I left coz our manager was a faggot.
Just started playing hockey again after 18 months out, sore as hell (32). Play cricket every Saturday during the summer aswell.
I used to play football but got fed up with games being called off due to water logged pitches. Its more expensive but Im guaranteed sport every Sat in the winter if I want a game of hockey due to playing on astroturf.

As a nipper I was on the books at Everton, but then again who didn't have a trial?
Not played a full game of footie for nearly 10 years now, shame because I was a very good player, right footed but gifted with the left peg as well.
