I have about 211 hours of BF2 under my belt. That's not as much as some freaks out there but I think it's a fair amount of experience. Even still, I can't dogfight well, don't know all the ins and outs of a map, and don't the tricks and trade of the game. But I'm ashamed to say I never played BF2 the way it was meant to be played. Teamwork...yes teamwork. I never joined a clan cuz I was never asked to and I only played in pubs.

I watched quite a few of clan battles recently and its amazing how kool teamwork can be.
The spawnpoint of a SL is so useful, but I've never seen it in any pubs. I'm definitely missing out on this game. Going lone wolf sucks.

here's a good video.

Yeah joining a clan does boost the experience certainly if the lone wolf part grows old.. good idea
altgough make sure you join an active clan not one thats about to die and roll over ..

Me and my friends do hardcore teamwork on weekends. We usually play on swedish servers and if you want to join some time just PM me. I don't know where you live so i guess it depends on your ping but anyways, welcome.....

You want that kind of teamwork you will have to pay.

WHEN WILL WE LEARN THAT NEITHER PING NOR LAG, SHOULD NOT SPILT THE HEART OF MAN AND DIVIDE OUR UNITY. A HOUSE DIVIDED FALLS.

Yes but that kind of team work can only be found in http://bf2combat.net/ which cost money.

ive heard that P.R. requires teamwork, but why is it so different than BF2. I thought P.R. was just a mod of it. So essentially its the same game. Why teamwork in one mod, and selfishness in another?

Yeah, my first 150 hours of BF2 were screwed up because I didn't bother with teamwork. Hell I never even joined a squad. Then one day I was asked to join a clan and when I played with the guys in the clan I saw how much more fun the game was when you use teamwork. If I hadn't discovered teamwork I would have quite BF2 months ago.

Teamwork FTW. So much fun when there is teamwork. I have a lot of lonewolf hours too because I didn't know what I was doing. cs will do that to you......

Clans can be so much fun. So much better than squadding up with random dipshits from BF2 who think it's funny to TK a chopper full of teammates on Wake.

Well alot of random people I have squadded with have been very smart and willing to use teamwork. The real beauty of the squad system is that because squad members get their own private VOIP channel they can efficiently communicate with each other and accomplish goals that would be almost impossible if there were no squads, or even if the whole server was on the same VOIP channel. But I do agree that clans and TS/Vent are much more reliable than random people you squad with.

I played a little while before I found out how beneficial squads can be.

I've recently started playing on a server with teamspeak.  The other players pretty much welcomed me with open arms and have helped me a great deal.

I'm trying to get involved with a clan but my work hours make it difficult.

squads are great.....if you can find one thats actually working as a squad

I cant count the times I join up for some squad action and find each one spread over the map with the SL setting no objectives.  Pointless.
