BF2S Forums People b*tching about your rules on your server.

I think Chuckles is spot  on...this is not about "bunnyhopping pros and cons" nor is it a bashing contest over what you personally think is a good or bad server rule.  You don't like a servers rule(s), leave for a server with rules that suit your taste and say nothing more about it, after all, it's not like there are a limited amount of servers to play on.

Your clan's server is safe.  Let the children whine all they want, if they continue to harass you on your own turf, break out the ban hammer and let 'em have it.

i always thought the way you move on the battlefield or how you play is your own thing , the thing you do !

I really HATE guys exploiting glitches and hacks aimbots cheats etc ... a litle statpadding WHO CARES !!??
Lets all make the rules more Basic ... No cheat, No hack ,No glitching, No Tk  ...
Many servers have rules that make NO sense ... i still think Commanders in vehicles(transport)should be allowed at all time , Armor (ONLY when possible !,i hate commanders that just sit in a tank and dont do Jack Sh*t with it ) the Commander must be able to fight ... ive been hunted by the enemy a few times while beeing commander sitting in my little tower at Road to Jalalabad ...C'mon its the COMMANDER the Chief !!

I admit rules are rules and you should respect those rules within that specific server, respect and you will be respected. But seriously? i think bunny hopping is OK and totally legit...because they can't shot and I can. Me and my M11-87 > bunny hopper.

Wow people get upset because they can't exploit the game with their macros and scripts  .  If you are going to complain about "No bunny hopping" servers at least be honest of why it's such an important aspect of BF2!  You only discredit yourself when you lie about why it's an important defensive tactic.  I understand the underline reason why server admins don't want it in their servers, it eliminates the use of scripts and macros (in that area of game play).  Honestly, I see no problem with this rule.  Oh, a before we forget, the glitching aspect of is that it does decrease bullet damage even if you are hit.  There is a huge difference between jumping up and down and prone jumping (AKA bunnyhopping to others) that causes a player to glitch the game inwhich no one can do no harm to them.  Get real!  People who bunny hop don't like the idea of getting owned and, they get owned a lot.  The game is boring to them if they actually learned how to take cover (like most people do). 

From what I recall CAL/TWL don't allow it so why complain about it on the pub servers.

why do u lecture when you have no fucking clue what you are talking about? its allowed.

you obviously never headshot people as they dolphin dive. heres the trick, if the player cant be hit dead on, you aim a little behind.

As for your server getting de-listed, don't worry about it.  Rules is rules, and if you are paying for the server then you can make your own rules.  If they don't like it there are plenty of servers inhabited by juvenile bunny hoppers.

Did the same returning soldier also have to fire at least 3 rockets into a tank to destroy it? Was he able to take half a clip from an AK, but be ok as long as he ran over a Med Pack? Oh yeah dude, this is an Arcade Shoot 'em Up, not a simulation.

Some people forget that.

But I agree, it's their server, and they have the right to use a bitch rule.

Because 90% who get killed by bunnies/divers go whine at EA/DICE.

And most players that say this isn't realistic are hypocrites, example: when shooting and throwing stuff while jumping was being removed (in patch 1.2 i think) a lot of ppl loved to see c4 throwing being removed because it wasn't realistic and looked dumb, but when EA announced that throwing a grenade while jumping would also be removed  most of the guys that didn't find c4 throwing realistic
all of sudden wanted to keep grenade throwing how is that more realistic then c4 throwing i haven't seen a soldier in the news or on the Internet bunnyhop while throwing nades either.

Real simple explanation:’stats’ nothing more nothing less, c4 throwing and not blowing yourself up couldn't do everyone but spamming nades well lets say it isn't 1 of the most difficult things to learn in bf2.

Just FYI,  you can still jump and throw a grenade.  If you knew what you were talking about....

Thats good to hear. The thing i can't stand on ranked servers is:

'No GLs, No Claymores, No Unlocks = Kick and BAN' or 'Tues/Weds Knife/Pistol/Paddles only'

Why the hell doesnt EA just shut them down? Guys like that don't deserve to have online ranked accounts. It screws up the game for everyone else that wants to play vanilla rules and play to the ROE.

You're the loser servers who have everyone go support so no bunnyhoppers so you can get quick kills. Well too fucking bad, we played a clan like you guys a twl match once and they begged us not to hop and they were all support. Hilarious.

lol, yeah i guess it really depends on who's shooting at you.  there have been a few times where i hopped away from a tank, which must look absolutely ridiculous to the person shooting at me... but to actually survive is even funnier.
