It's so white looking because it's against a dark background.jkohlc wrote:

Where did you find that? It hasn't been sold under the name "Darkie" since the early '80s. That brand is actually popular all throughout Asia. I've seen it in China, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore and Japan. My wife grew up using that stuff. We got a tube in Phuket that has a honey flavor that's actually damn good tasting.
Lawl just found the pics. I knew about Darlie a long time ago, but since it was mentioned in English class about how it was representing Jim Crow, I would like to show to BF2s how ignorant my country is.chittydog wrote:

Oh joy, after eating my bowl of Nigga please cereal, I can brush my teeth with Darkie toothpaste.
Oh, and you're not the only racist country, back in the day of white supremacy over aboriginees, there was a soap called "Nulla Nulla Soap" I'd find an image, but I cant, so here's words to depict it
Nulla Nulla is ‘Australia’s white hope, the best household soap.’ The product’s logo is a venomous personification of an Aboriginal woman as dirt. A white hand hits the crudely drawn black head with a spoon, and the image is framed by the phrase ‘knocks dirt on the head’. Just in case we missed the point, the word dirt hangs around her neck.
Lawls.
