Right in the middle of the US.

Quite possibly the best overall map in the game, Songhua is very well balanced, with much armor and transports for both PLA and USMC. Helicopters are also available to transport or flag hop, and there are RIBs aplenty. This is one of the few maps where medics do not reign supreme. With so much armor abound, someone has to be around to take it out. Enter engineers, anti-tankers, and spec ops. Using the dense jungle as cover, having a few expert marksmen on your team definitely couldn't hurt either, especially if they use their claymores as improvised roadside mines against the lightly armored transport vehicles and unsuspecting foot soldier.

Seriously.

...and on top of that, it's one of the most, if not the most balanced map in the game. Yeah, there's a lot of armor on it...for both teams. Plus, engy and spec ops reign supreme on this map...as do snipers.

Maybe you can convince the guys at TV2 ( www.battle.no ) to switch out one of their Dalian servers for a Songhua server. They have plenty of servers up already - TV2 - server

Torr77 is an TV2 Admin and can be reached on the BF2s forum btw - Tor77 - PM

EDIT: there used to be a 24/7 Songhua Stalemate on TV2.

Its a good map, generally. Shame that maps like this and Fushe are never played...
However GameArena has a China maps server. Buts its never populated...

If it hasnt got a high ping kicker, then ill be joining. I love the map, and yeah I agree that it is fair. It hasnt got uncaps so theres no complaints from retards.
Shame you can never find it anywhere. In the meantime - you US players are damn lucky to have this

I just went to join, 5people including a BF2s'er...but all had gone by the time I got in

Its actually an unranked server. Which is a shame as I actually get 100ping on it (which is good for a US server)
