Ive looked at the people and there are several pretty famous faces in there i.e - Sawyer from Lost, the old dude from starship troopers and a woman from HOUSE tv show...lol sorry i dont know their names.

Why have a famous cast? maybe help with sales?

btw C&C is all about the story. The original had good game play, but the newer ones just fail badly on game play tbh. Thats why cut scenes are all important, thus the good cast.

they also have the 2 main cylons from Battlestar Galactica. Somehow I always expect the Galactica come down and blow everything up. Also they used the same eye-flashing effect (but in green) in the bonus stuff in C&C as they have on the BSG DVDs

'Fail badly' is somewhat of a harsh phrase for the series. It needs to be much worse for a 'fail badly.' Like 'Star Trek Legacy.' The only selling points on that underdeveloped title was franchise and captain actor voices. A miserable collage of ST: Armada and ST: Bridge Commander, attempting to be two things at once while bringing in the best of neither predecessors.

I think the gameplay is fine.

The only annoying things I've found so far are: Multiplayer is impossible (GG EA - seems like I'm not the only one with problems on this front), and structure placement is incredibly picky.
