RAM speed question

Ok, I cannot find this anywhere.

Which is faster: 3gb ddr 333mhz, or 2gb ddr 400mhz?

I have 2gb of ddr pc3200 400mhz ram running at 333mhz because I wanted to use my 2x 512mb pc3200 3332mhz ram from my old puter so I have 3gb.
What will give me the best performance?

While im not 100% sure, more ram will run smoother, higher speed ram gives better performence. As the old addage goes "quality over quantity"

In your case running with the extra 2 x 512 is worse. Mixing RAM sizes tends to suck, just stick with the 2GB. Are you running XP or Vista?
