Well I have roughly 67 hours on Wake alone, and I can say I agree completely.  Hell, I've been TKed for the plane when I'm not even trying to get to the plane!  I was running past the harrier on Wake's carrier, heading tword the boats, when some noob ass assault guy t00bs me to death yelling for me to not steal the plane...someone else got it because it spawned while he was typing.  I spawn , he kills me again because I made him "miss his ride".  Later on he accually got the plane.  He tried to Turbojet off of the carrier, landed in the water and died.  Yells at me asing why I TKed, t00bs be again.

wake is a fun map as long as your pilots can keep the other team's jets occupied. otherwise it's just a bombing spree for the stickshifters. the lack of vehicles makes tankers and pilots godly.... but infantry can be fun too.

I dont have a screenshot of this (dont know how to really....) but I was playing USMC commander on Mashtur.  Its kinda hard to find a good hiding spot on this map so i go and hide at the very edge of the map amongst the palm trees and grass at the gas station. Some medic apparently shoots me and heals me at the same time as an attempt to get heal scores! The nerve of that guy! So I get off the commander screen and threaten to shoot. He backs off. But when i get back on to commander screen, he comes back and does the same damn thing. So i shot him. Suffered the TK and all hell broke loose. He spawns, hunts me to do the same thing over and over again. Not only did we lose the game, but i got so much sh*t from the guys for being a lousy commander.

In retrospect, what could I have done instead? If there was a way to kick him out of the game I would have... but i didn't know how to. Can anyone tell me how to if there is a way?

i play wake a lot - and yeah... its a teamkill parade
but i for myself don't bother about the peeps standing on the runway anymore - if i get the tk so what? -4 point - i don't care and stopped to be mad about it - i often get gold even with -12 teampoints - as long as i get the plane of course
and if all the morons who can't fly would stop to try flying a plane there would be no tk'ing for planes - normally there aren't more than 2 good pilots on each side - but each fool thinks he has to learn to fly on ranked servers :-/

edit: ahhh btw: all u chopper pilots - stop flying or hovering over the runway - what do u want there???

Nice thing about it, is that it's a game and anyone and everyone (good or bad) can fly if they want to..  Maybe they are new to flying and get pwned (who knows)?  But when you get assholes that think they need (own) the jets, heli's, tanks and so on... and and TK for it, I say IT'S ON!!!  If someone TK's me intentionally (for a jet or what ever), I make sure that I intentionally TK their sorry asses!!!  Eye for an Eye is what I say!!!  If the TK is due to my stupidity... then I deserved it.. 

My $.02 since I paid my $ like everyone else.....

Did you know Wake Island is a real place?  I just learned that a few days ago here.....

Actually Wake isnt the only place. Clean sweep showed me there are some real cretins out there. I'm new at this and assumed there might have been some kind of unwritten code that would stop deliberate team killing. Call me fatally naive but to get into an apache then get sniped twice by the same guy is a bit annoying. Over the mic I asked him why and he told me it was "his chopper....bitch!!". I watched and saw him sniping other team-mates in exactly the same scenario at least 4 or 5 times. Then he parked a bradley in front of a jet he wanted. Such a wanker. He was american and his handle was Vash_the_stoner....if you see him tell he is an arsehole from me...

That's why I only play on servers constantly adminned or EA official servers. Constantly adminned means they can take out the problem easily. EA Official means that people that do that TK for vehicles crap violate the BF2RS ROE.
