Situation:
About to hop in J-10 spawn on Dragon Valley.
Notice my Squad mate shooting something so I run to assist him.
I hear small arms fire on my left, so I about face and see a US Marine, kneeling and aiming at me point blank range. (less than 5 feet)
I open up my AK on him and all of my bullets hit some invisible object! I see the bullet holes and he shots me but neither of us take any damage!
My Squad mate is on his left flank so he easily takes him down with the G36.
Some other chap flys away for the J-10 I was waiting for

So what is it ,man?

might have been taken out in a patch and they didnt remove the object just ther renderer or something

It's a shield, you can see the red edge on it

there are dynamic barrels there. they must have been shot at, creating the bullet holes, then moved to a different position, while the bullet holes stayed in their original position

OK ITS NOT H@X , its just a glitch , This has Happend to me before ... i was shooting somone and then i never hit him at all cause i was hitting an invisible barrier , its really stupid but theres another one of these in WARLORD/SF on a roof of  a building im to buisy right now to go get a SS of it but its a glitch that EA did or the creators...

Hmmm interesting... has this got anything to do with the invisible barrier behind the carrier also on Dragon?

Ill be flying around, in game area, and suddenly hit something (nothing) and blow up.

EDIT: and somehow these dont seem like that stats of a hacker http://bf2s.com/player/94224817/

No I made the bullet holes! A whole magazine made those holes... I'm thinking it was barrels there,just not rendered...

did you shoot the gas trailer to the right ( backing up of course) and see what happened? if it was sposed to be where the bullets were then would it have blown up if you shot it?

Actually ,m that was one of the only time I didn't blow that up! I am always shooting that, or the red barrels, love watching those go up about 50 feet in to the air.

Its simple, you opened photoshop a drew some bullet holes, your clip is still full which means you didnt shoot at him and those bullet holes arent like the ones in bf2

Question: Then how come I only have 3 magazines left? Answer: Because I unloaded the whole clip to make those bullet holes; I only have 3 mags left, and they are the exact holes made in game...

I wish I had photoshop, the knowledge to create it with photoshop, and the wit to make this up for April Fool's Day...  And if I did do it with photoshop ( I only have GIMP, to make a server graphic) I didn't earn one Karma for doing a good job, so I would have failed miserably, in making a April Fools Day joke...

Ok guys, I'm really surprised that you all think I could have photoshoped this, thanks  for the compliment, but It's a real screen shot, from in-game. So here is a screen shot of all my program files, no photoshop, just like I said... and the original pics from My Doc>Battlefield 2 Folder>Screenshots...

Happened to me once on karkand...near the USMC left uncap place (where the most people spawn) I shot some guy i could partially see through the bush, and it didn't hit him. So i opened up on his legs which were sticking out, still no damage. Turns around and shock paddles me which was the biggest slap in the face

The Golden Ratio (Or Fibonacci's Ratio) is a ration where A compared to B is in the same ration as A+B compared to A. The only time this is true is when they are in the ration 1:1.618....

Apparently it is the most attractive ration for objects to be in, the Parthenon in Athen was built with many areas in that ratio.

Basically, if things like the length from your nose to your lips and the length from your nose to your chin are in the golden ratio, then you are mathematically beautiful.
