Pr has made Bf2 boring to me. Too many spazzy hopping medics. Pr is the best only when you have a Commander and all squads working with the commander. It's addicting. How did Dcon get so many votes?

PR definitely. Its by far the best FPS Ive played. Everything is better than BF2. Rules, guns, sounds, vehicles, maps...
POE2 was good also but its kind of dead. Currently there are 44 people playing it only.
When you finish downloading make sure you have BF2 1.41 patch installed first before installing the mod.

Also in that topic you can learn how to start a local server and be able to request any kit you want. Pretty useful to get the feeling for AT rockets (they are 10 times faster than in BF2), armor, air support etc.
Good map to try it on is "Al Basrah".

Project Reality all the way! Even though DCon just came it out, it gave me a bad first impression. (Basically just BF2 with a few eye candies). PR re-does everything and it is a whole new gaming experience!
I personally disliked PR, but I cannot get enough of DC. Seriously, that game owns so hard... The m-16, Carbine, and A-10 make me mess my pants... The SCUD is also teh hotz.
PR is much better then PoE IMO, though its a bit different and some don't like it.
PR tends to be slowed down, The maps are big and if you don't play efficiently you can end up walking some big distances . Respawns are long (30 seconds + 1 second a death) but in the end it makes for more thoughtful play)
There is some great teamwork though, and some really good maps. They have made a lot of awesome changes and If you like tactical games you will probably like it.
The air combat of DC sounds cool, but if the "Hectic version of bf" is accurate it doesn't sound very good. BF2 has too much crazy running around spraying IMO already, and next update for PR will have some tweaks for flying. The choppers are already really cool so if they can match that with the planes then it should be really good.
Sandbox is kinda fun, worth the download at only like 50mb for sure.

Project Reality is fun because you don't get people sniping everywhere, resulting in nothing ever getting done, and the AT is still effective even with no guidance. Killing people is advantageous - it gives you time to cap the flag, and disabling vehicles means that the vehicles must be destroyed before they respawn (and in the meantime they're close to useless).

If i like playing playing infantry in POE2 and liked to fly in the A-10 and the small German Attack Chopper (forget about the name, sry!) then would you suggest me to download Project Reality? POE only has 3 or 4 servers running! How's that with PR? And last question how big is the file of PR? 1Gb?

PR has 153 servers and DCON has 342 servers.
PR is 1.6 Gb.
It has 116 servers running, but only 3 or 4 with some real match on it i mean.
I want to see 29/40 or 18/24 people on it, understand?

PR is 1.6 GB. And yes if you like infantry combat you will love PR because infantry plays a bigger role than in BF2. AT weapons are very powerful so every map that has armor has flags where its suicide to go with armor.Sandriatinhi wrote:

And yes it also has A10s. I don't know how they are like in POE2 but PRs A10s are much better than DCONs A10s.
And you said it right, its not about the number of servers running it. Its about number of populated servers.
And you don't have to worry about that. For PR in the evenings the PROS servers are always full, and they are either 54 or 64 slots.
