Pretty obvious question

Ive just come off of 3hours straight of Zatar Wetlands on the TV2 server. It was so much fun that I just couldnt leave the server!!
Armour, choppering, jet whoring and plain ole foot slogging it in DPV's. All a great laugh.

Anyway, it got me thinking that Songhua is never played, yet that TV2 server held 40+ people all the time. Do people really like Zatar more than Songhua??

I like Songhua more, they cant find you as Sniper. even with Uav and Scan.

Songhua is one of my favorite maps...

One of the only maps where you can routinely get gold as AT.

Songhua, because:

National + ethnic pride. I'm American, they're American. I'm Chinese, they're Chinese. It's a win-win situation.
The Blackhawk. C4 dropping = awesome anti-sniper weapon (assuming you're UAVing them).
You have a marginally good fighting chance. No planes to bomb you to oblivion before you can hear them, no attack helicopters to rape you, only tanks, APCs, and transport choppers.
Engineers being a useful kit for something other than vehicles. Chances are, you aren't going to see my AT mines until it's too late.

I always drive into the water whenever I'm in a DPV in Songhua, and the fog doesn't help.

Songhua Stalemate.

Too bad most of the time I get to play it, my team doesn't know how to play the map or where the fuck they are going.

It's quite awesome to get a convoy of APC's rolling and taking the pain train around the map to kill some shit in the fog.

You can play on foot too as sniper and kill without being seen due to lots of cover and fog, or AT and spec spec ops, Engineer and really be effective against armour. It's really a good map for c4 traps or sneaky mine laying.

Best of all no jets to ruin your fun ground pounding or armour driving.

Both awesome maps, but been what seems like a lifetime since I played them. Maybe I will play them tonight. Thank you sir for reminding me of some good maps.

its funny to see ppl posts saying SONGHUNA FTW ITZ MI FAV MAP LOLZ then they have like 2 hrs of playing time on it. Its not that hard to find a server that runs it special when there is one with it 24/7.

the map sucks and will never be popular but for some reason ppl just overrate it.

imo Songhua Stalemate is the best map in the game. I rarely see a server, but whenever one comes up [with a reasonable ping] I immediately try to join.

Its never too late to start
In fact, upon leaving it my entire game has got better.

When my PC is fixed, I will definitly be server hopping for Songhua - and I voted for it
Zatar is good, but for some good ole armour action without helis and jets bombing the crap out of you (for once) - Songhua is where it's at.
Its also fun watching everyone drive jeeps and tanks into the water since they dont know where they're going

Zatar for me but Songhua is my least played map, so I can't really say much about it. Zatar is behind FuShe the most balanced Jet map (not the jets, the map itself).

The problem with both maps is that whenever it loads half the players leave and the rest has no idea how to play the map.

My typical Songhua game ends within 5 minutes when all flags are taken. Songhua is less fun for me.

Songhua is an awesome map. I have no clue why so few servers play it, people like it allot and if servers added it to their rotation people would join them. Whenever I see a map playing Songhua with >40 people in and <180 ping I join it. It is probably one of the most balanced maps in the game and the dense fog adds allot of uncertainty.
