Imagine you are playing IO Jalalalalalalalabad.  For the past couple rounds, the US has captured the Lake flag at the beginning of the round every single time.  So after two or three times, what would make the majority of a team ignore the lake?

I swear this is a mental disorder that needs university research and funding.

lol EVERYONE BODY wants a piece of the intense action not a dinky flag in the middle of no where. but seriously that happens alot in IO jalabad/ karkard, i admit i do it also. i want KILLS! but i will support my squad into capping that flag if the leader made it pass enemy lines

Yes, stupid indeed.
The lake flag is crucial, as it provides quick access to the market and hotel while cutting short the outpost, fountain and junkyard.

Jalalabad is pretty unbalanced. At the beggining the US is pretty much fucked but then as soon as they cap one flag the MEC are pretty much fucked.

Its IO, you pretty much expect that US wont cap a flag the whole round.

All you gotta do is get one flag and RUSH THE MEC DOWN. When I'm MEC I even try to disturb teammates so that it won't come to a frontline fight and that the USMC get a flag
A good tip is also to apply for commander and then not supporting your troops with any kind of UAV, so that the USMC will surely get a spawnpoint in the inner city.

The BEST tip would be for the start of the round. Get a squad of 3-4 medics all with L85's...And just RUSH your way along the outta bounds line to the fountain. Or to the lake, don't even stop to shoot unless your under really heavy fire. Keep throwing medpacks at eachother as you run. Get a flag.
